Throughout the semester, we were asked to think about a research topic of communication that was interesting to us to write and explore. We were assigned mini topics within the semester to submit that would help us with the final Research Proposal and Presentation of the research that we found. I choose to research Friends with Benefits Relationships in the workplace and how nonverbal gestures can affect your coworkers. As you know, many people want to keep these relationships a secret causing issues of making others feel uncomfortable in the workplace. I went on to propose the research that I would do to prove this hypothesis.
